30th Block Island Race Week Starts Monday

The 30th edition of the Storm Trysail Club’s biennial Block Island Race starts on Monday, June 19th, with an impressive turnout of 177 entries set to race daily through Friday, June 23rd in 18 classes of one design, PHRF, ORC and multihull classes.

On the fourth and final day of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, the forecast breeze failed to arrive on the race course and no races were held on the regatta's final day. Inoui, a 108-footer owned by Switzerland's Marco Vogele was crowned as the overall winner and WallyCento V takes the top spot in the Combined Performance & Cruising Class

Today saw the third and penultimate day of racing at the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta. The course took both divisions clockwise around the islands of La Maddalena and Caprera. The course for the Southern Wind division was approximately 25 miles, while the Superyachts covered a longer course of approximately 36 miles.

The second day of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta served up conditions that were even better than the excellent sailing weather the fleet enjoyed yesterday. After two days, Inoui, Win Win and Pattoo top the Superyacht Cruising Class in that order, separated by just one point each.
