Before the final day, the Estonian Katariina II is the new leader in ORC 0-1, while the same boats remain at the top in the other classes: L’Immens-Laplaza Assessors in ORC 2, Lady in ORC 3, Lassal in ORC 4-5, Tenaz in J70, and Baleària-RCNP in the Women’s Cup. After the fourth race, a discard came into play in all categories.

This Thursday, the 51st Conde de Godó BMW Trophy began with the coastal race for the ORC Double Handed fleet, which started its 105-mile test at 3 PM with a start and finish in Barcelona, passing by the Petrolera, located off the Costa Daurada.
The Copa del Rey MAPFRE registers over one hundred entries

Two months ahead of the 42nd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, the competition has already registered over one hundred entries. Noteworthy is the fact that more than half of the teams registered belong to the ORC class, proving their vouched interest and support of the European Championship being organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Offshore Racing Congress in 2025 for the 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE.
77th Annual Block Island Race: A Game of Chutes and Ladders

The 77th annual Storm Trysail Club Block Island Race took place this past weekend, challenging sailors with light winds and testing their patience and strategy. Starting and finishing in Stamford, CT, the fleet of 76 boats embarked on the 186-nautical-mile journey around Block Island. The ultimate victory in the ORC class was claimed by Andrew Berdon's TP52, Summer Storm.

Everything is ready at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona to host the 51st edition of the Conde de Godó BMW Sailing Trophy from May 29 to June 2, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona. ORC fleet is numerous, with about 20 boats racing in double-handed division and about 50 boats in classes ORC 0 to ORC 5.

Three new champions emerged as 2024 European champions in each of three ORC DH classes: Massimo Juris and Pietro Luciano (ITA) competing on their JPK 10.80 COLOMBRE in Class A, Antonio Di Chiara and Walter Svetina (ITA) on their First 40.7 TASMANIA in Class B, and Vladimir Borstnar and Bojan Gale (SLO) sailing their J-99 JOY in Class C.
