The event kicked off with three days of intense inshore races, a part of the Central and Southern Thyrrenian Championship, which concluded on May 11. These races were not for the faint-hearted, with challenging wind conditions and fierce competition.

Despite the challenging wind shifts, the teams in Sorrento showed remarkable resilience, completing all 5 races. It was a tough battle, but in the end, Italia 11.98 SUGAR of Ott Kikkas (EST) emerged victorious in the racer category, Italia 11.98 TO BE of Stefano Rusconi (ITA) triumphed in the A/B cruiser racer category, and X-37 WANAX of Giovanni Sonata di Cosimo claimed the victory in the C cruiser racer category.

"We participated with a mixed Estonian and Italian crew that did a fantastic job. I am really satisfied with them, especially our legends on board like Sandro Montefusco and Matteo Ivaldi, who make everything easier," said Ott Kikkas, owner of Sugar 3. "The first part of the Regata dei Tre Golfi was very pleasant; we sailed fast all night, but the next day, even though we still enjoyed it, we encountered rain, strong winds, and a dead calm... We had a lot of fun, we loved Naples and Sorrento; the whole organization here has been fantastic!"
